Sounds like a good idea. Probably worth finding if money is tight and you have no particular allegiance to an airline already.

Feedback appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I went on-lline and could not find any direct flights into Santiago from Orlando. The cheapest round trip flight was on Spirit Airlines at $343 with a long stop over in Fort Lauderdale. You can do the same. It's not rocket science.

You are a much nicer and more accommodating person than me Steve. When you get a chance would you please post a recap of the headlines from the CBC news site. I'm trying to extend the life of my mouse by limiting the number of clicks I generate each day...

If you have the time and are serious about saving money. Search for a cheap bus down to
Ft.Lauderdale then once in Ft. Lauderdale, Spirit ususally has flights down here starting
around $135 USD one-way including taxes and fees.

Just checked their website. There is a fare available departing April 3, 2017 at 12:21pm from Ft. Lauderdale down here to (where I live) in beautiful Santiago for only $100.39 USD.

Good luck and safe travels.

Or do a one way car rental pick up Orlando drop off at FLL.  Usually no drop off fee within Florida.

Correct, I do this all the time.
Normally to MIA as I despise Spirit. Also AA MCO/MIA/STI often can be cheap, just hate the MIA part.

Yes, thankyou. I was is in a very giving mood. I agree, it does drive me crazy that some people can't figure out where to find the info on-line. Are they really that daft or just lazy? Probably a little of both.
