I ended up bringing my Parker electric guitar. I was concerned about theft, loss, etc. so I packed it in a cardboard box. The rest of the band all brought their guitars too in just their cases and no issues. Customs basically waved everything through without a second glance.
It was a wonderful trip and experience. I got a 5 night vacation at the resort, and paid VERY well for playing a 75 minute set. I hope I get to come back.
