Did I mention the video camera?

Can you please pass me the remote control?

Hurry up! This room rents by the hour.

But I just brushed my teeth...

Hmmm? Did I remember to take my pill?

I told you it wouldn't work without batteries!

It's nice being in bed with a woman I don't have to inflate

Keep it down, my mother is a light sleeper

and finally...

On second thought, let's turn off the lights

Now that's even funnier than lau...fan's (I really think you should just be Bob :classic: :classic: :classic:)translations!

But whipped cream makes me break out.

Do you accept Visa?

You said you had keys for the handcuffs!!

Are you sure I don't know you from somewhere?

You woke me up for that?

Hey, when is it going to be my friend's turn?

OK I'll start it off,
Need the following translation:

1. I want you to get on top
2. Please turn over or Please get on your back
3. That's it keep going
4. Turn over
5. Leave the lights on
6. Wake up, I have a doctor's appointment in 15 minutes
7. How was it?

Gracias

I don't know if you're serious or not...but I have nothing to do at work today, so here it goes...

  1. Ponte encima...(I am assuming you're talking to a Dominican)
  2. Volt?ate...Acu?state...por favor...
  3. As?, papi/mami...no pares...
  4. Volt?ate...
  5. Deja las luces encendidas...
  6. Despierta, tengo una cita con el doctor en 15 minutos...
  7. Te gust??

For the life of me...why would anybody need these things translated???

Don't you guys know love is the universal language???...

Hope I was of some help...

MQ (sunshine...love your posts...very, very funny and TRUE!! ;))

Some off the posts at the beginning of this thread are the funniest I have ever read on this board.

They made me laugh out loud. At least as loud as the one from Criss Colon did when he mentioned how he got his nick name.

Funny laced with what could be some truth is the best of these boards.

I think these boards are picking up again and getting away from all that nit picking manure that was starting to consume them.

Is not fun and laughter more the Dominican way after all.

Deja las luces prendidos - could it be

Dejas las luces prendidos -

or what about "Dejan las luces prendidos" ( Cause you have more than one light??)

I was using "deja" instead of "dejas" because deja would be the command form.

Au contraire, Bob. It's awesome that you tried. No one else was jumping in. Through trying, you'll learn. I didn't mean to offend you, I think we pick on everyone using an on-line translator, because they are all so terrible.

are you late, or do you think the recent post was from the computer translator again?

well it wasnt it was direct from my head. And I just spell things like I have seen or how I THINK they should be spelled.

( i just re read it..I could sound ****ed, I am not!!!)

one thing I was trying to convey on my recent post was that as bad as some peple spanish technically is, people will understand you. And thats all thats inportant early on. Especially if you dont live in a spanish speaking country. I f i lived there I would take professional language lessons!!!!!!!!!

have a great night bob

I pretty much know what you want to say.
And i'm with you. most native spanish speaking people will tell me that i speak really well- for some reason i make more gramatical mistakes when i am writing because i don't usually have to write anymore....but even with the grammer they get it and they like the fact that I try.
