Older/Younger partnerships

After reading the other thread I thought to myself it never stops.. there a plenty reasons to want a younger partner..

One reason to want a younger partner could be to increase the possibilities of having healthy babies.. I do believe that older women have smaller chances of bearing healthy babies, esp if the male is also already over 35..

I am attaching a few threads and have tried to include some 'women friendly sources' as well as 'scientific material'; the last thread is about declining male fertiliy to provide some balance:

I feel that because both men and women delay the age of starting a family until they are fincially secure.. this seems to bring up problems of fertiliy and family planning later..

Currently I am in a situation (I don't know about my sperm quality ) where I am the older partner (36 vis-a-vis 27) and the under 30 requirement I had in mind was specifically aimed at the family planning situation..

So yes I excluded women my own age from my partner search.. for what I consider a good reason.. for me this is important

What this means is that everyone likes different things. If we liked the same type of woman or the same type of man we would all be fighting for the same people. I don't think there is anything wrong in dating someone younger or older than yourself. Age is in the heart and the mind. What I don't agree with is old men or women going out with teenagers. But as long as everyone is a concenting adult then it shouldn't matter to anyone. Live your life, not mine.

I agree with it fully and sometimes have difficulty understanding why some people apply it in a manner that I can only describe as selectively...
