Understand that there are two situations here - two different aspects to the property.
1/
The Aman Hotel - Amanera
They are hotel operators... like Four Seasons.... hotel management.
2/
The remaining land/acreage.... about 2500 acres which includes the golf course
Amanera was the most successful opening that the Aman Group has ever had - defying my prediction !
It continues to have good occupancy
Golf courses per se are rarely money makers buy can be useful tools in property development and offering visibility to a project.
The acreage here is significant for development..... multi-use residential.....
There is room for any amenity you may wan
Little to nothing has been said about tennis, which exists there.....name your wish as to what may happen in the future.
Look at the Discovery Land website.... Baker's Bay in particular in the Bahamas
In all there are about 20 properties in the portfolio....Yellowstone , a ski resort is another (with Bill Gates an owner)
Discovery Land is the developer... the sales and publicity engine.... they have a big Rolodex.
As importantly, they have strong financial backing.
As to making money - that cannot happen until land sales start.
Land sales need the golf course as a lure ( or allure, if you prefer ) haha
Cart and donkey sequence.... before the pony show begins.
