For someone looking to purchase a villa to personally live in (not rent out), these two communities look very similar. RH is walking distance to town, which is great, but are there any other major differences between the two communities? Is there another community that tops ether of these - I see Ocean Village is heavy into villa construction too.

Sea Horse Ranch and Perla Marina
I was told that Sea Horse is very expensive and Perla has poor security. For those reasons I was told to probably look at the other communities as a better option.

Take your time before you invest.

I would live in the communities you are interested in. (for at least 1 month)
The house, price, amenities, security, going to and from the property in the day and night, neighbors and neighborhood and so on.
If you have kids SoV amenities

If you want to be walking distance from town Hispaniola
