Does anyone know if there's a bus that would go from Santiago to Samana, how long would it take and how much it costs? I checked Caribe and Metro but it doesn't look like they go there from Santiago?

Yup there is. Hold on a minute, while I look it up. I remember that there are like six or eight departures a day to Samana area...Hold on...Here it is. As you can see, prices were 2009. So add RD$50 at least p/p.

I went to the Caribe Tours web site, and there doesn't seem to be service from Santiago to Sanchez or Samana -- or am I wrong? Seems CT runs few buses from either Sanchez or Samana.

Travel from Santiago to Las Terrenas

This was a huge help! My only problem is that I'm trying to figure out how to contact Linea Junior for details and can't find a website. Are these direct routes or do we have to change buses on the way? How do I make a reservation, or do we just show up? Thanks in advance!!
