Santo Domingo Marathon
The 11th Lowenbrau-sponsored Santo Domingo marathon will take place on Saturday, 24 June. This 21-km run takes off from km 1 of the Mirador del Sur Park. Categories are Men & Women (Overall, 18-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, and 70+. There are special categories for persons in wheel chairs (professional and non-professional). Runners will compete for more than RD$500,000 in prizes. Registration opens on 22 and 23 June from 6 to 8 pm and 24 June (all day) at Km. 0 of the Mirador del Sur Park.
