So, where is the non stop Air Canada YYZ-SDQ?

Back in June there was hoopla about a non-stop Air Canada flight 3X a week from Toronto to Santo Domingo starting Nov 3rd.

Try finding it on Air Canada's schedule for November 2005. Nope.

Maybe they changed their mind or plan to start selling the tickets on the 2nd.

They will start service effective from Thursday 15th of December 2005
operated by Air Canada Airbus A319

AC 976 YYZ 13:05 - 18:10 SDQ (Tuesday,Thursday and Saturday)
AC 977 SDQ 19:00 - 22:35 YYZ (Tuesday,Thursday and Saturday)

The first one is the 17th as it turns out.

It isn't cheap either, full fare J is $2,600 US round trip. Coach as low as CDN$839 before taxes. Except in December of course. February has CAD$1439 for C, not bad non-stop.

I wanted to go in November, too bad they dropped the ball.

Has anyone seen an Air Canada counter at SDQ?
