It's on Sundays in SD, a lot of the people party Saturday night and probably don't get up until noon!! :bunny::bunny::bunny:

Ask for the fusion cooking dishes. They are taking international recipes and adding Dominican ingredients for the celebration of American Capital of Culture. Several restaurants (can think of Cane on Abraham Lincoln as another one), including the Meson de la Cava are participating. Ask for Otto Ricart, the owner, for the special dishes. On Monday, 16 August we were there after the architecture tour and sampled them. Delicious, outstanding. They go for 200-400 but are extraordinary. Go as a group and order five or six. Delicious. This special menu is available any day of the week, any time. Just need to ask for it.
