It seldom works though. If you expect to get something for nothing then you can never set the bar low enough to what they think they shouldnt have to do. Which is the also referred to as the breaking point.

I live here in Santiago and it's not the same as the coast resort settings there are barrios,a middle class and quite a few well off Dominicans so it depends what you looking for. It helps to have a friend or a hook up, but if your used to traveling solo you will be fine, good luck.

Level , Tringa , Dn Drink , lovada bar, Tek drink , Social , during the day yes it is very possible to get a phone number or 2 but to just walk up to a girl in a bar can get you in some **** if she is with other people. With out an introudchion from someone it is a bit tuf. True there are a lot of unemployed *girls in the birieos I have met plenty true. but this tipe comes with a lot of baggage. I am talking about clubs/bar's not Moly. It is not that easy. you may find a chapidora who will ask you to take her and her frends to Tabue un the casino but some how when the $5000 bottle is gone thy all disipeer like magic. It could catch one at Club MayBe at 5:30am Saturday but have never seen anouther gringo at maybe most would ve to scared to go there.

All I can say Y.C. is in my 10+ years living in this country I have not experienced any drought periods. I have met them in clubs, supermarkets, walking down the street, colmados and on the rare occasion I went out to clubs, there as well. Now my Spanish is good enough, for a gringo I can dance merengue, bachata and some salsa and I can make them laugh. I am not cheap but there is no way in hell any chapiadora is getting anything more than a presidente or maybe a Brugal out of me.
Anyway, I have left my old ways and for the first time in my life being loyal to a girl with a job, running a business, owns a car etc.
I can often be found at Aroma del Sol (not to be confused with Puerto del Sol) if you feeling continuing such an important, life impacting discussion. Take care and have a great day.
