Yeah, listen, tropical island aside, I wore wool socks and LLBean clogs to that mountain....and a sweater and a scarf to Paso Fino. Differences in temp of more than 20 degrees does give the illusion of "cold".
You look right at home with all the LLB garb, nice to have them so close to you. Dis true, higher elevations are a nice change from the coastal temps.
