There was a recent sale that just ended. The price from Buffalo to SDQ went up over $100 for the same dates. Then a couple days later another "sale" came up and now the tickets are about $100 more then a week ago.
Also if you are just looking for a week-end trip, sign up for AA emails. Every week or so they send out a listing of week-end prices that are good from Thursday / Friday until Sunday / Monday. Also travelocity.com has a fare tracker. You put in the cities and anytime the prices change more then $25 (or some amount you tell them) they send you an email. Once you get the email you can always go to AA.com to buy the tickets.

I am waiting for the day that AA includes Toronto in the weekender sales so you could theoretically go Toronto to Miami on one and then Miami - SDQ on another one. I have seen ONE websaver with Toronto and that was Chicago.
Too bad, as these websavers have been almost every weekend at $189 MIA-SDQ lately.
