I feel you....reminds me of how it was here before.
Thankfully edenorte upgraded pillars, wires ( now triple phase ), transformers, etc..... and meters.
24h/24h luz !! Nearly 2 years and still going strong.
But I dont agree on electricity being cheaper than back home ( France/Switzerland ).
It is cheap, but only if you stay under the 300 kwh, per month......which is very hard to do. ( even though we use much less kwh now that the battery bank is hardly sollicited ).
