my bad typing, yes, the dayrate is abt US$350,000 per day, a deepwater (10,000 feet +) unit goes for abt US$500,000 per day.

T&T has offshore exploration and production, as well as Venezuela and Colombia. Surinam and Cuba have drilling programmes lined up, and recently Jamiaca and The Bahamas have issued offshore leases for exploration over the next few years

Barbados oil deposits and small production is onshore, as far as I am aware no drilling has taken place offshore Barbados (as of yet)

Typical DR1 fashion..........

I'm totally amazed that such a post about the same thing I saw today on the sea could develop into such a load of nonsense!

I was hoping someone had a real answer but,in typical DR1 fashion, if you know nothing, post cr*p and ....invent BS.
