Just like Colombians did after low cost airlines added non-stop flights on several Colombia-DR routes, Mexicans are now discovering the Dominican Republic. The same is happening for Dominicans who are now flying in groups of friends and families to Mexico, enjoying the world class Mexican attractions.

Once Arajet entered the market with flights in 2022 into Felipe Angeles International Airport (NLU) on the outskirts of Mexico City, promotions and word of mouth have stimulated travel between both countries.

This has stimulated Mexican tourists to travel to the country to discover what all the hype is about the Dominican Republic. Likewise, Dominican tourists are discovering Mexico’s many destinations, making it a win-win situation for both countries.
