The Rainieri Cultural Center and the Frank & Haydée Rainieri Foundation inaugurated the “El Prado in the Streets” exhibition on Friday, 17 April 2026. The initiative brings 77 full-scale photographic reproductions of masterpieces from Spain’s Museo Nacional del Prado to the public squares and walkways of the Puntacana enclave, where Punta Cana got its start.

The exhibition, part of the broader “El Prado among us” (El Prado en nosotros) project, is a collaborative effort involving the Centro León in Santiago, the Eduardo León Jimenes Foundation, KahKow, and Banco Popular Dominicano, with the support of the Amigos del Museo del Prado Foundation in Spain.
