Yes you are, I see it all the time and everyone knows what happens here and I tell all my friends when they come here just to have fun and go home and forget it but they are very good at spinning a good story and hooking the guy. Normally you will find that they don't like to go to any bars or clubs in Sosua as it is not a good place to go out. Well the fact is that everyone knows her and she is always around town but she wants to hiding you from the fact. Don't worry you will not be the first or last person to be hooked and many of the girls have several guys supporting them in one way or another.

When people make comments, they are generalizing about the most likely situation. One could argue that the female you described is atypical for the DR (i.e., 26, good job, no kids, sends a guy money in the USA, has a father around and paying her rent, etc.)

Well we have some new twists to a very old story.

If she came to visit you that means she has a visitor visa and no matter how long it's good for IT IS NOT a green card therefore she cannot stay legally in the US. Getting pregnant will not secure her a green card. You will still have to what is called petition for her to immigrate to the US either as a spouse or fiance. The child can not get her there as far as I know unti they are of legal age.

What does she want from you? I have no idea but I suggest you go visit her in the DR. Make sure you visit her at her bank while she is working. Meet her family. Does her rich daddy live in the DR?

Something isn't adding up and it's up to you to find that out. What city/town in DR does she live?
