You got the feed back on Old Germany.
Try El Rancho, great food/service..... specials change daily the Roulade is tasty.
Spinach and eggs are good and the soups for a smaller, but filling meal.
sosua has so many restaurants. more than POP, i think... it's difficult to try them all but i think we may be going to sosua to eat more often. and it seems that i have now infected other with this idea too. miesposo's bff comes to eat rocky's ribs all the way from santiago

Try Charlie's Bar at Club Residencial in Sosua.
Huge portion good quality and value.

After a few times at Old Germany I tried the BBQ at Don Andres.
The food quality(meats) was good!
Unfortunately the Dutch guy at the grill was not good at what he was doing.Don't know if it is always the same guy?
Also the dining room was hectic and over crowded.
With a more knowledgeable "grill master" it may be worth the extra RD$ 100.
Old Germany is basic, but good value at 350 and spacious.

The meat at Don Andres is delicious, but I agree with you, the "grillmaster" there sucks big time. Unfortunately he has been there a long time now. It was much better before.
