You got two bottles of refresco. The biliguel was like a 2 liter maybe and the other a 1 liter.
I find when I ask for a 2 liter bottle of coke they think I am asking for 2 of them. Calling the 2 liter bottle a liter and passing me a pair.
Der Fish
Maybe if you ask for dos litros de coca cola they get confused, ask for 'un doble litro'
i think you just bought yourself a reason to get yellow 4% sticker for your car...
I always thought it was called big liter, but only recently someone told me its big leaguer...anyway, this one surprised me as much as when they send me a cebeno.
By the way my seven year old son was sending me a whatsapp message from his mother's phone, typing 'Oquei!' While he meant OK...it sticks...
7yrs olds kid with a cellphone and whatsapp, hmm ok
I agree, but like I said in my post, he was sending messages from his mother's phone. He doesn't have one and won't get one for many years yet.7yrs olds kid with a cellphone and whatsapp, hmm ok
The "V" was throwing him off.
the whole word was throwing me off.
Or like you order the Presidente... una grande o una yumbo. They'd probably get confused and send you a beer instead.
A friend was at the airport duty free shop where a very loud Dominican was buying perfume for his novia. He kept on saying he was looking for "Yumbo" and my friend could not work out what he meant until he finally swooped on the Jean-Paul Gaultier.Wouldn't that be "un Yumbo"?
lol...
maybe not.

C'mon. I can so see you asking for a biliguel de rojo at Xiomaira's.
