I am constantly amazed at the creative names Dominicans give their children. This name caught my attention today......Vaishleen :laugh:

they just write any word they can put together on the birth certificate. kinda like African Americans, to a point. it is an echelon thing. you will not find a Brugal naming their kid Belkydulis.
There is a girl I know from Carol City Miami her first name is African Money and her nickname is Penny....Go figure.
I know a few Dominicans called Vladimir.
and Lenin. they love them Russian names here.
well, they must have gotten that from the James Bond character Miss Money Penny.
Steal, Linen, Ziebel, Zarieli.....etc. There are hundreds. One of my favorites, and favorite people Ricnel.

I know a lot of people called ONEWAY (as in "there are a lot of streets named after him... ONE WAY")
If ONEWAY is on that person's birth certificate that would be a first.
