They'd spread their legs for a coconut seller/motoconcho/animation guy/waiter/singer at a resort, etc. It doesn't matter how educated these ladies are. They might even be from good families. It doesn't matter if they guy has a bunch of kids he can't support.

What gringas have is child birth control. Some do get knocked up by resort workers, but usually they're good at either avoiding pregnancies or getting rid of pregnancies.

Lets also face the fact that middle aged, overweight, complexion poor, gringas come to the dr............just for that. Since back home no man would willingly prod them with a 2 foot stick...........
Somehow, they are not ure typical female citizen of-wherever they are from.........

Let me share a trick with some of you about women. If a woman likes you no matter her zip code she will have SEXXXXXXX!!!!!!! with you. Women move in the direction of their feelings and heart so if a woman have feelings for a man chances are she will have sex with him without protection.

The first time I had sex with the mother of my 1st child we went and BOUGT condoms from Walgreens but at the hotel we never opened the box.

The mother of my 2nd child in DR we never used condoms.

Once when I was visiting my uncle in Panama City I met a girl from Colombia and after hanging out with her for a few days she came back to my room and right in the middle of taking her cloths off I ran to get a condom and she looked as if you do not have to wear it if you do not want to, but two kids by two different women is enough and it won't ever be a third.

It is the men choice if they want to have a child with a woman or not the women really do not have control over this in DR. There are TWO AND ONLY TWO women on this entire planet I can have sex with and not have to worry about using a condom. The women I already have a child with.

Some guys like having babies and some don't.

BTW It even goes all the way back to high school and college if a girl likes you she will not press the issue about protection even if she is not on the pill.

Teens have been having babies for millennia(everywhere), but it's only in the last hundred years or so that the age of marriage and consent went up to around 18 for most of the world. This isn't to say it's a good idea for a 13 or 15 year old to get pregnant(despite it being *natural)~ it greatly increases the chances of a low birth weight baby or infant death and can make future pregnancies higher risk for mother and child.

My daughter is not yet a woman but I did indeed place my career on hold for her to be sure she is taken care of first hand.

You might wonder where the other years came from, my daughter turning 6 and so that's just 7 year 'trapped'. Well there is alot you don't know and because of your mentality could never understand. But my years in the country prior to aditional responsibilities are an entirely different Animal.

Looking at this chart I'll bet the list of countries would be almost in inversely linear proportion to a list of the same countries by life expectancy. Mother Nature finds a way to create a balance.

That is one of the tamest "personal attacks" I've seen in a while. I've been called everything but a child of an imaginary invisible dude on here.

I think that threads which start out as slanderous misstatements against Dominicans as a whole will usually devolve into free-for-all back and forth arguments which usually conclude in time outs and thunder from on high.

The chart which Annie offered gives us a pretty good idea that the problem of teen births is a lot worse in many other countries and although 1 teen birth in every 10 is not a good statistic, it isn't as bad a problem as it appears to be on the surface. A little more education and some of those free condoms that sheep hates so much would probably drop this stat significantly and now that kids will be spending more time at school, they'll have less time to procreate.

It's all B.S. and it doesn't work that way in the developed world as we can see that a full quarter of American Kids grow up in single parent households and just think...this is where the education, jobs and opportunities are. With the extreme lack of education and economic opportunity in the D.R. how are things supposed to work better there than they do here?

Apathy is curable. The antidote is hope. There is enough wealth choked up at the top income bracket to make the entire nation prosperous but there is also enough greed there to keep the country mired in the same type of apathy, poverty, illiteracy, ignorance and self destructive behavioral patterns forever. The current President seems to get this and have worked to make it better. Let's see if the next one can carry the flag a little further up the hill.
