Seriously?!?!

Lets see... A chunk of the town without water, electrical outages CONSTANTLY, no "real" hospital, and internet thats decent in only select areas

...the water that is available is dangerous. Sidewalks are horrible, terrible public transit, emergency services are non-existent and the banking system is dubious.

Look..here's the deal. I could give a rats ass about any business suffering from the lack of the hoe monger trade.
If you base your business plan on that trade you're an idiot.

At the end of the day I wouldn't mind walking down Pedro Clisante, going to a restaurant without bumping into mongers and hoes. I'm disgusted.

You may want to move away.

Another business closing....the French welder Richard, who has his shop behind the Harley garage is closing up and moving to Rio San Juan. He is the only real welder around and has been in sosua for more than 15 years. Says things are too slow and he needs a change of scenery.

Two other businesses that have closed before they really even opened is El Flow in its new location, will not open as per the landlord and also the new thatch roof restaurant near Zoilos has closed and is for sale.

The Lazy Dog restaurant on Pedro Clisante will now be occupied by a Cuban guy who will have a Cuban restaurant and a walk-in humidor.

Tonight in front of the Casa de Arte de Sos?a across the street from the Sos?a Bay (Coral Reef) Casino will be a slightly more "formal" musical presentation by The Fundaci?n Educativa de Jazz. SEATING PROVIDED, for those who mentioned it earlier in this thread. Tonight you can expect to hear some jazz.

Ya right. I'm not the previous owner of a failing bar and now the proud owner of a bunch of junk that rents out to the jetblue crowd. I'm staying......you on the other hand may consider a move.

Do you know the name of the Cuban guy?

Hey, another cigar place....that's gotta be a winner :(

When I saw these last few cigar lounges open in Sousa, I knew that trend had definitely "jumped the shark"!

Wonder how long it will be before a cupcake shop opens? (And then shortly thereafter closes).*

What I'd like to see here is a decent Indian Resturant. I remember there was one 5-6 years ago, but it's location was terrible. It was on a side street out past the High Caribbean disco.

At least it would be a somewhat creative idea.

Both the location and the food at that Indian restaurant were bad. I do agree about the need for good Asian restaurants like Indian or Thai.
