Where would it be reported here? Listin Diario? Don't think DR, Punta Cana in particular would let it get reported. Wake up and smell the Bustelo.

That is certainly possible ... but not as probable as some of the other theories outlined here ..including the possibility of Domestic Violence .

Lets see what the Hotels official statement is tomorrow ..

IMO, it's disgusting how the same old busybodies along with a few new know-it-alls think that either they know everything or that they somehow magically can figure it all out like they're Inspector Clouseau. It's pathetic and beyond patronizing. I sincerely hope than when something Sh!tty happens to them, and things happen to most people eventually, that karma lets them suffer at the hands of fools like the poor folks that they ridicule.

The only remotely possible spin or conspiracy theory is ..How much did the Hotel pay to keep this silent...it was extremely violent attack ,doing this would leave some sort of mark on perpetuating individual and pretty sure cops checked hubby first for any signs.. someone is driving new Jeep and it ain’t her.

We have no idea what details or lack of she conveyed to the police or what the journalist may have left out. Big is just being a flamer and you are taking it way too personal.

the fact that there have been several women who have fallen victim to sexual abuse in Jamaica is beyond irrelevant to this matter. two different countries.

A healthy dose of skepticism is in order for sure. I have read and scene Dominican culture and violence. However I have not ever scene them beating a person for no apparent reason, especially a tourist as they know the wrath of the police would be forthcoming. Resisting a robbery , Ok, or a sexual assault sure, but none of those were indicated by her. Working at a AI is highly coveted job with a certain amount of prestige. I doubt some guy who no doubt had half dozen interviews to get the job would beat a hotel guest just because.

there is no data to support the contention you make that these stories will cause the DR to lose ''lots of tourist $$$. Jamaica has had a rash of tourist abuses, but still remains among the tourist destinations with the highest return rate..

Watched the 7:00 pm news and they asked Politur about it and said they was in the clinic 2 hrs after the incident was known and the case is still open and under investigation.
