We are a German investor community that is currently acquiring a finca in the DR to actively create jobs in agriculture and forestry.
If local bank financing is available, we would like to expand our business model and acquire and operate further fincas.
If someone has local bank contacts, we would be very interested - preferably in English or German.

Do you offer financing in any other industry? Kindly let me know. Thanks

Also realize that those with "thousands" of posts may be "all hat and no cattle". ;)

Chris Carter was right "Trust No One":lick:

Yes little drummer boy, there's plenty, too many, examples here on DR1 of well know, prolific posters who later turn out to be less than reputable. So do keep the dislikes coming, I enjoy them ;)

It is simply due diligence .
The poster could very well be legit.... do they have a DR Permission certificate (or whatever it takes) To lend money in the DR.
Are they registered in DR, what is the experience in other countries , concerning lending.
What kind of competitive financing do they offer , how will they handle loans when the 'fit hits the shan' (like CV-19 )

I worked for a big investment firm who was looking at the Luperon Beach Hotel that went bankrupt years ago.... too much red tape and totally unreasonable terms from Government.

In DR , as far as I know there is a drive to get Farm Land titles as certified. Many were simply passed down from generation to generation... so what is the collateral ... and how does liquidation come into play in the DR.... and a dozen more criteria to consider....... I suppose if they are legit all those questions can be answered quite clearly.....
My DR family owns lots of farm land that could be developed if the financing is reasonable and potential is there... Financing requires a business plan! Who will do those for the DR Farmer ?

Maybe they are a not for profit organization ; we certainly could use the investment stimulus . Especially in times like these.

So what's the game?
