We have a couple of questions about this resort:

Is the mini-bar included in all inclusive or is that extra?

Do we have to book la carte restaurants in advance (More details please)! Also we have had trouble booking the deluxe room with our travel agent (Flight Center), she refuses to believe there is one. Anyone else have this difficulty? so far we have the standard room, should I just call signature and bitch?

How do we go about getting the windsurfing boards?

How did you book the safari outback, was it worth it?

Anyone else going from Feb 10-17th?

From what I understand the mini bar in the room is included. It should have pop, beer and water in it. We will be there on the 8th - 22nd of Feb with another couple and both us are to have deluxe master jacuzzi suites. We booked through Flight Center. maybe ask them to check again.

how old are you guys? Want to meet up? WTF. THis is ****ing me off! We paid 3000 for 2 people! They won't give us the deluxe room and refuse to admit it exist. Quote on quote "standard room, deluxe room, superior room its all the same thing".

We are in our 50's and are going there for our Honeymoon. We paid more than you did but that's from Vancouver. I think they are called the Royal suites and they are in the adults only part of the resort.

can you tell me how you were able to book the royal suites? me and my boyfriend are only in our 20s but we would still like to stay in the adults-only area. Hope you have a great honeymoon!

Hey all, first thanks for all your kind words both here and by private messages.

CD's - can you download music CD"s - No idea, sorry. Even if you do the entertainment staff might not play them. They have a list of activities and music they follow apparently.

Pub Crawl - there is only one operating that I know of. It is called Puerto Plata Nite on the Town. Go to www.popreport/pubcrawl for more info, or call 1-809-586-7923. I have heard mixed reports about this tour but in my opinion it is as fun as you make it....

Ice wine - you should have no problems bringing in one or two bottles.

We will have a terrific time !!! The suites are advertised in the signature travel book 2006-2007, so we asked for it. Don't be afraid to come and have a drink with us old folks, our favourite wedding gift was a margarator, it makes margaritas by the gallon. We've been known to have a bit of fun.

I think we'll take ya up on the offer ... the margarator machine sounds fun! also, we are going to call our TA on monday to make sure we get the deluxe upgrade.

We are both Canadian, I have long brown hair and my bf is tall with blue eyes and blond hair...you cant miss us! see you there...

Argue with your travel agent. You can book a deluxe room unless you have kids as they are in the adult only section. Check on Airline Tickets | Vacation Packages | Cruises & Last Minute Deals | Red Tag Vacations The mini bar or what they call it is included, pop ,softdrinks , water. We went on a similar trip in Punta cana and that was the highlight you will enjoy, There are a couple of trips check them out online. Outback safari, Bavaro Runners or Monster trucks. I think the cost is closre to the same for all.

wow that vid looked great thanks starting to feel a bot more relaxed now i will wait untill there are some wedding reviews before i make my mind up on that one!

hi all.
glad to hear the reports getting better, starting to relax now. does anyone who is getting married here no what to costs are for all the legal stuff im getting told different prices. we are flying from bristol on 20th of may, is anyone else going at this time.

also does anyone now anything about the golf course, can you just turn up or do you have book & do you need a handycap.

we are going oct the 7th - 21st and we ahve booked our wedding we ahve found out the fees are about ?600 any wedding pics would be great!

we were told it would be about ?500 then i read somewhere it would cost about ?1500. will post pics when we get back.
