SOMETHING TO REMEMBER !

Many of the specialists were out of work for +/- two months.
They need money.

I was suffering from hearing loss in both ears after a long coughing/allergy episode.

I saved $3,500 U.S. by walking out of the specialist's office last week.
I was told I needed 2 hearing aids, plus a small procedure that was not guaranteed.

$3,500 U.S. "CASH" by the next day.

When I got home, I totally corrected the problem in the left ear and the right ear is about 50% corrected.

I went for a second opinion on Monday and was given prescriptions to reduce the swelling in my ears, relieve pressure and remove liquid that was the results of the prolonged coughing/allergy episode.

Thanks to Google and my intense research.

Oh no problem. My native language is Spanish, although I admit that since I spent most of my adult life in the US, it's a lot easier to describe certain symptoms in English than in Spanish. For example, I have no clue how to describe pain in Spanish.

His English is far from perfect but easy enough to understand.

Has anyone been to HOMS doctors’ building lately? Wondering how they’re handling crowds in elevators these days. I can do some flight of stairs, but would rather not do 8 or 9 up !

In any event, I need to see an orthopedic surgeon. Any recommendations at HOMS or somewhere in the POP area? Looks like I developed tendonitis in both shoulders just a month apart, super painful at night. Have dealt with this for the last two months now because of the pandemic, not wanting to expose my 60+ y.o. body to the virus, but I can’t continue with this pain. Took every painkiller I could get my hands on, and nothing worked.
Read Dr. Sarno book on pain if you want.

Tendinitis, Bursitis, rotator tear...a million names for that pain.

For sure it is inflammation. How is your diet and your weight? Do you smoke or drink alcohol? What are you eating?

Try eating things and doing things that reduce inflammation. Create a lifestyle around it. All of the suggestions above are great and can be augmented even more.

That was my solution for the exact same problem.

Bursitis and tendonitis are not the same. MRI results I have both. Don’t smoke, don’t drink, eat mostly Mediterranean diet. I’m 12lbs overweight. Thanks for the advice.
