When will DR open for International travel??????

Times of uncertainty indeed. Heck, I don't even know if my children will be in school in September. Nothing is planneable anymore, very annoying, but nothing we can do about it.
nothing is real anymore. we don't know if airports will open up in july or not. beaches are also closed and don't know when they will open up . schools are also up in air. government is showing juiced up number of new covid cases but that does not mean these people are sick with symptoms. the new cases only represent people who have had covid infection or are having it now. this is because they are doing more tests now than before this is why they are finding more cases. they are mostly young people with little to no symptoms at all. this is why hospitals are not full of covid 19 cases. this is a show which was predicted months in advance to postpone or cancel the elections. PLD is bound to lose the elections so they will do anything to mess up the process. they want to buy more time to buy more votes or discourage people to come out and vote.

we had a June 6th last month & they didn't cancel until June 1. If you call customer service they say they only know what we know, but someone has to have a better idea about it.

The good thing (maybe) according to the press relace from Mitur today the July 1. date for restart tourism is not changeable (vamos a ver!)...

For sure. All politicians in the DR are simply bagmen and women for the Dominican billionaires.
It's just shocking to read it in print. This Minister if Tourism may have spoken out of line.
Maybe maybe not...we will know soon.
