Just found out that caddies are not allowed on the golf course under any circumstances. For some reason I thought they were but needed to walk behind the golfer in the cart. I must have my countries mixed up.

Iberostar and Hard Rock do not use caddies. I'm sure you could get one but I have never seen or used one.

Many courses in the DR, like those in Casa de Campo require you to use a caddy and a cart. I prefer neither, but the caddie I had was very good and earned a very good tip. I always use a caddie at Jarabacoa because it's how those boys earn their supper.
