I noticed that you point with a very big brush. Do you have a medium sized one in your tool box just in case?

If he can point with a very big brush, imagine how he can paint with his fingers.
(Sorry could not resist. Another stormy day/night here along the southern tier)

Coronavirus: WHO backflips on virus stance by condemning lockdowns
Lockdowns have been used to control the coronavirus around the world, plunging millions of lives into chaos. Now the WHO has changed its mind.

The World Health Organisation has backflipped on its original COVID-19 stance after calling for world leaders to stop locking down their countries and economies.

Dr. David Nabarro from the WHO appealed to world leaders yesterday, telling them to stop “using lockdowns as your primary control method” of the coronavirus.
He also claimed that the only thing lockdowns achieved was poverty – with no mention of the potential lives saved.
“Lockdowns just have one consequence that you must never ever belittle, and that is making poor people an awful lot poorer,” he said.

“We in the World Health Organisation do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus,” Dr Nabarro told The Spectator.

“The only time we believe a lockdown is justified is to buy you time to reorganise, regroup, rebalance your resources, protect your health workers who are exhausted, but by and large, we’d rather not do it.”

Dr Nabarro’s main criticism of lockdowns involved the global impact, explaining how poorer economies that had been indirectly affected.

“Just look at what’s happened to the tourism industry in the Caribbean, for example, or in the Pacific because people aren’t taking their holidays,” he said.

“Look what’s happened to smallholder farmers all over the world. … Look what’s happening to poverty levels. It seems that we may well have a doubling of world poverty by next year. We may well have at least a doubling of child malnutrition.”.......................................................

In other words, the WHO does not have a clue.
Shutdown. Lockdown. Open in limited quantity. Shutdown. Lockdown. Oh wait, open it all up.
How about the whole world just returns to normal, and let the pieces fall where they will?

Easy there, you're making too much sense now! The scare-tactics must go on. It's fun seeing how obedient the sheeple are 😁

Governments losing control will not be an option for most governments.
Imagine what would happen to those in power if 0.4% of the population dies from CV19.
Government have to act like they are doing something no matter what the consequences.

Well the numbers are in and it seems worse than I thought - no tourism industry can survive very long with such abysmal numbers.

And the September numbers just announced are worse than August.........which were abysmal;

If the trend holds, the DR can expect no better than 20% of the prior year tourists numbers................for the all important upcoming winter tourist season.

Well the just extended the toque de queda so they can expect a dismal season.

They should react to the WHO now backtracking on lock downs saying they do more harm than good.

Fauci's report yesterday is that we should have a safe and available vaccine by April is probably the most accurate guess we can get at this time. No sense guessing any longer we might just sit back and be cool about how far most of us have come so far. Grin and bear it. I plan on enjoying the holidays and giving thanks to my Boss.

This fella Fauci is still around?
I surely thought by now that he'd be hosting his own television talk show, or perhaps a reality series.
Can Dancing With The Stars be far away?

He is NOT the most sort after source"!! Rumor has it that several members, newly minted doctors btw, here on DR1, have signed contracts to appear before live audiences in the north coast of the DR. Don't know if it is true since so many covid stories are sketchy ,

After watching his attempt to throw out the opening pitch in a baseball game this summer, it's safe to say that his dancing skills are sub optimal as well.

Ya know..... I see more construction these days than I have in a long time....
Houses = 2nd floors..... businesses building and/or expanding

Highway traffic is construction goods or vehicles - been stuck behind too many

Remember Gorgon ?
Run off his feet buying cars
