Ever wonder why the interest rate in Dollars is less than 1% and rate with pesos is 7-10 % higher.................
AH, but there have been, and alway will be, millions of people that can't figure that out. They follow the rules of investment called "Greed 101".

Actually, I said;

"I see that you do not see or agree that there is a correlation."
"Many momentum traders/investors disagree.....as do I."

There is a correlation, which is what I said.

And I never said or alluded to anything involving causation.......so where you are pulling this from is anybody's guess.

A trend in motion tends to stay in motion......................and that trend for the peso still exists today..........to the detriment of the purchasing power of its citizens and likely to be more exacerbated by the recent rise in worldwide commodity prices and the recent borrowings of the BancoCentral to meet its international obligations.
I said there is a correlation also.
So, I do not see why you continue to argue a point we agree on.
Other than your need to be right and have the last word on everything when it comes to investing.
With science you still need a little work.

But investing has nothing to do with the Laws of Motion from Newton.
As Laws of physics they provide the basis of causation that can be tested for a proved in the real world.
Your investment talk is theory.
Nothing but theory.
Prove your ideas in the real world by being able to predict ahead of time what the market is going to do based on Newtons Laws of Motion.

Capitalize and bold all you need to Playa.
A scientist you are not.
When the market for the peso turns around.
I will be the first to hand you a towel from IKEA to wipe the mud outta your 👁️‼️

I still remember when the exchange was 1/1. A little more than ten years ago, however.

I still cringe when it went to 1/4 and a bunch of us bought a ton of pesos thinking it would drop back down.

Boy, were we wrong on that one!
At least you did not borrow money to play your short position.

Yes, but I have never suggested that anyone invest in pesos.
Yet, that is all Playa talks about.
Although I do think there is value in paying cash for real property you can use.
Call it an investment if you like.
And yes, you are often required to convert hard currency into play money.
But then you receive the benefit you are seeking from the asset you purchased because you are using it (apartment, casa, tareas).
Property held for rental or a business...
Well then that is a different story.

Based on Newton's Law of Motion............that a trend in motion stays in motion until disrupted..................the peso will be worth less in December 2021 than it is now.

Don't hold your breath for a turnaround......or put in a positive way..........the trend likely saved you from buying a towel. For those who wish to send their money to die.................I hear peso certificates are paying 7,5% lol

Use the same source where you stole your chart but did not give credit for by posting the link.

I will wait until then to see if I need to make a trip to IKEA or not.

Stole the chart............and did not give a link.

In which post did I post a chart about the peso and not give a link?

I did quote a poster that had a chart.................but as to stealing a chart and not giving credit.................nice try at deflection and making it personal.

See you in December.

My bad ‼️
It wasn't you.
But you still have the opportunity to quote the source you intend to use to prove your point in December.

Nothing I post is personal up in here on DR1
That would require me to care about what anyone posts up in here or thinks about me.
And you can trust that my give a (profanity deleted) factor about that is lower than the decline of the 🇩🇴 peso over the years.

I am here to protect and serve.
And to have fun.
No money riding on it...
Then it does not matter to me.
I am not invested in this discussion or 🇩🇴pesos beyond what I need to live from day to day in 🇩🇴 and enjoy my life to the fullest.
So I got no dog in the fight.
