Wanted to ask if anyone had any experience in utilizing WFS for well water in the DR? What types/brands? Where can I purchase? Any input would be helpful to my research. Thanks!
I have been using a three filter and reverse osmosis on my well water. I had it test again a week ago and it was great. No issues with taste for me especially with a little rum

By chance do you happen to know how much a system like yours would cost to purchase here in DR?

We had the UV light, but with the power fluctuations we have burned out 2 UV lights already. Any suggestions?
I never had any problems in 3 years - fingers crossed -not sure but our system is grounded maybe that helps

I've heard other people say having certain products grounded will make a difference. Will probably look to install/ have one installed this fall. Hopefully prices don't skyrocket beforehand.

Please understand, I'm not knocking anyone's choices, be careful with RO systems, do your research as that system will remove all TDS and minerals and have a certain amount of waste water. Some people prone to certain medical conditions and super long term use can affect your health. There are RO systems that add these nutrients back to your drinking water. My issue is I'm in a condo trying to alleviate the Hydrogen Sulfide and possibly allow for guests to use the water for drinking. Also ditching the standard water heater to a tankless so I'm using a sediment filters and scale inhibitor to prolong the life of the tankless. I'm hoping with the right filtration and not using a standard water heater which produces the sulfur smell it will at least improve. ✌️

1. What water supply do you have now?
2. What do you want the well water for?
3. Have you tested the well water?
4. Have you considered other water options?
5. Do you have reliable and correct electrical to support a system?
6. Do you have a room or space for a water system?

Been doing this for years. Stating your situation and desired goal would be helpful to you.
I believe EcoServe uses Trojan Technology equipment..... I have them (Eco)

Trojan might be a Cdn company.... if I recall correctly
They give discounts for referrals. Very overpriced.

Get a voltage protector like they sell for appliances. They cut the power for 3, 10, 30 or 3 minutes depending on which one you buy.

They usually have something like a 5V spread up or down before they kick off.
