No dent in speed with this one. Have been using it for many years. $40 per year on all your devices, Cells also.
I'm guessing you don't have an issue with Prime and Netflix recognizing you're using a VPN?

For those and similar service a smart DNS provider gets over the geolocation block or restriction without impacting speed or the the need for a VPN. I've used SmartDNSproxy in the past and it works a treat. As a bonus the price for the smart dns also includes a VPN. They have a free trail but it's not available for DR. You can buy a month of service for US$5.90 to try it out and if you like it you can buy a yearly bi-yearly or lifetime plan.

as an fyi, and for those who are technically inclined. if you have a home in the states, you can buy a router that has a vpn server built in. then you can use vpn client software to connect to your own home. basically you can use yourself as your own vpn provider.. all your internet traffic will bounce off your home. netflix (and everyone else) will see your traffic coming from your home in the states. You may need some help setting it up.. im sure theres tutorials out there tough
Or a Raspberry Pi that you configure with OpenVPN. Or even better, a VPS (virtual private server), you can get one of those for like $10/month and then you have your own private VPN server that ONLY you use. Or you can sign up for an AWS account and get 1 year free and just create a private server. There are MANY different solutions you can create to avoid the "issue" with VPNs offered by different service providers but still get the benefits from it.

You can also get 1 year free from Microsoft Azure. I like the OpenVPN on Raspberry Pi option particularly if one has a pi 3 or 3b collecting dust. Here is a short list of cheap VPS service for those that might be interested.
