That's why I never try to get into that, no cash apps either the only online payment I have been used for 20 years is PayPal.

See post #2Are there any offices similar to the BitCoin Crypto center in Cabarete?
If people bought crypto using their help and placed their coins in a hot wallet or a cold wallet they have nothing to be worried about. Those in the know...know the saying:
Not your keys?
Not your crypto ‼️
I have another question: Does the OP have an investment in crypto?
I know he does not use the BTC Crypto Center in Cabarete since he had to ask if it was open.
And in that case I am asking directly why is the issue so important to the OP as to start a topic on it❓
I had Ethereum but got rid of mine when it spiked above 3,600 thank you very much. Are there any offices similar to the BitCoin Crypto center in Cabarete?

Thank you for your answer.Saved on gasoline going to Cabarete but I was curious to see how the shop was faring in the crypto meltdown.
I hate to break this to you...I don't care about anything you do here on DR1, in the 🇩🇴 or the entire world. And why do you care why I started the topic?
Why would I need to do that ❓See post #2
I have not used the Bitcoin Shop in Cabarete due to its distance from where I currently live. And no I didn't need to go to a 'shop' to buy into a Ponzi scheme, as I bought on Webull. Saved on gasoline going to Cabarete but I was curious to see how the shop was faring in the crypto meltdown.
I buy on the dips and sell when it at 25percent profit ..pigs get slaughteryou must be holding ?
So the Bitcoin Shop in Cabarete launched their own pseudo-crypto called Nabana/$Bana.
The launch looked more like a party with prizes and surprises than anything that might be considered a serious viable currency alternative.............and frankly that is a lot like most of the crypto lurking out there.
Perhaps someone who has bought can comment on it.
Apparently they now have an office in LT and Bavaro and appear to be marketing to the expat community.
And a question raised in a closed post regarding the Bitcoin shop in Cabarete still stands as to whether any due diligence has been done on the principals.

This is starting to be a Comedy .. lmfao
launched their own Crypto .. ? is this a Joke ?
i dont even have words .
This reminds of when I was a younger Lad and all the VIDEO / HVS Movie Rental Stores offered " Lifetime" Memberships .
LMFAO
I think you mean Cocobits.I am going to start a new crypto currency this winter in Samana. Crypto Coconuts. Or BitCocos. Have not decided yet. Much less expensive to transport than the old coconuts.
I would need to read the white paper on the Nabana/$Bana crypto and order to comment on the blockchain that sits under it.So the Bitcoin Shop in Cabarete launched their own pseudo-crypto called Nabana/$Bana.

A line taken from the very great broadway show Chicago is : Give them the OLE RAZZLE DAZZLE...RAZZLE DAZZLE DEM... explain it all.It might be..............the better question is who the joke is ultimately on. Here are their pre-announcements before the launch.

Did you ever wonder how crypto in general has so much content written...............but very little substance to explain it coherently.

Slightly off topic BUT to add to your post above: How many people read page after page of a document regarding a mortgage? A loan? A closing statement? lol. Then later they say WTF!!!There is plenty of content to explain how the blockchain that supports a particular crypto coin operates.
You start by reading the original white paper.
How many up in here commenting about crypto in general have even read one of those white papers ❓
It is not easy reading (at least not for me).
This is put on your thinking cap and be ready to look up the words, terminologies and understand the concepts piece by piece.
There is also the requirement to apply common sense to the document that you are reading.
The problem is not many have the intellectual capacity nor the time and willingness to put in the mental energy to educate themselves about this complex subject that will lead us into the future and make it possible to be a sovereign individual again.

The white paper is available in the link that was posted in post #34.
There is also a class on the blockchain available on youtube for anyone interested by a guest professor at MIT.
Anyone actually interested in the growth of the use of the blockchain and the adoption of cryptocurrency in the Dominican Republic let me know. Let's start a thread in the General Section for a discussion as it relates to the actual subject matter.
Opinions will be welcome.
But I prefer facts.
