Cell phone service and home Internet service are two different things...........To the moon, Alice, to the moon...
No problems with Altice on the north coast, but I just use them for cell phone service.
Gee, I must be the only one getting the Internet on my cell phone.Cell phone service and home Internet service are two different things...........
Altice in my house, and Claro on my phone. I used to have blazing speed on my Claro phone, but they have gradually decreased it to the point I don't use it anymore.Gee, I must be the only one getting the Internet on my cell phone.
Since Nan has some questions, I will leave it open.Just popped up again.
You can shut er' down, KC.
I will make it simple so you can understand. Fiber optic home internet is from a modem IN YOUR HOUSE. Your cell phone comes from cell towers OUTSIDE of your house. Comprendi?........Gee, I must be the only one getting the Internet on my cell phone.
Sky, Windy's a EE. He understands this.I will make it simple so you can understand. Fiber optic home internet is from a modem IN YOUR HOUSE. Your cell phone comes from cell towers OUTSIDE of your house. Comprendi?........
An EE and an IT are two different fields.........And his post tells me so.........Sky, Windy's a EE. He understands this.
You have to download the "mi Altice" app for your phone or tablet.Since this is an Altice thread: Does anyone know how to find out online:
1. When does your contract expire.
2. What speeds is your contract for.
3. How much data/month is your contract for.
4. How to upgrade without incurring contract cancellation fees.
Thanks!
Oh, I fully understand. One of my main clients was CISCO back in the SF Bay area. along with every other internet backbone company of the time. I had one of the first cable modems back in the day in Fremont, CA. Had DSL from CLARO which sucked here in the DR and finally got fiber with Cable Del Norte which has worked well for me.An EE and an IT are two different fields.........And his post tells me so.........
What City are you in? I need solid Data Connection when I'm there.Claro Fiber Optic @ home, works like a charm.
Altice cellular service sucks. I have a connection issue with them at least once a week. I've complained to them about it more than once. Waste of time.
If you're just visiting I recommend you go to Claro and buy a pre-paid SIM card. You can then add credit to the card/ account and purchase an internet/ data package directly from you phone in a few easy steps. It can be used as a hotspot as well. Claro has the best coverage across the country and it works really well in places like Boca Chica, Puerto Plata and Sosua. What City are you in? I need solid Data Connection when I'm there.
