I know in Santo Domingo there it’s one behind blue mall , PIANTINI …. What about santiago ? Any barber shops that may fall under upscale category ?

What the f... you need a "upscale barber shop" for !? Paying 5 x for the same service ? If the dominicans are good in something than in cutting hairs. You can go to every normal place and get a service 10x better than in europe or the US !!!

I'm quite happy with my local guy. He smells like a distillery, comes to my house. #4 buzz sides and back. Scissor cut in front and top. Shapes beard. He charges 400 for home service with beard work. I pay him 500 and buy him a grande so he can work with gusto!

Don't have much experience with salones, but in this one they offer something to drink (probably coffee)! Maybe that's common or maybe it isn't.
