DAME LUZ ! And KLK

It seems like Dominicans feel much better when using slangs as oppose To proper Spanish , I go out of my way to always give a proper and respectful greetings at almost every place I walk into including BUT not limited to colmadones , comedores , banca , fritura , colmado , barber shops , hookah lounges , etc etc …. However when I give them a proper “saludos , buenas tardes OR “ buenos dia , como les AMANESE “ OR a “ good evening “ OR “saludos , como están todos ustedes” it’s usually follow by them replying back DAME LUZ ! , KLK , MÓNTAME , DAME LO REAL DATOS , MANSO , KE LO KENTUCKY , ….. this really annoys me , I feel like grabbing them by the shoulders and yell what it’s wrong with you ! WAKE UP WAKE UP !


Anyways , just wanted to know if y’all experiencing this type of behavior as well

You are so full of BS - not one other poster believes this nonsense. I doubt you are even in DR.
Maybe you are really just some mal-adjusted teenager in mom's basement who found a forum where you could pretend to be something other than a
pimple-popper.

You might want to change your social circle/places you frequent. Rey, this again is nothing new. Using slang happens everywhere. I find it surprising/strange that you are just noticing this now.

You expect to find educated Spanish in places frequented by poor uneducated people?

What was it that made you feel it is "great input"? Changing your social circle, places you frequent, slang is used everywhere? Or was it that I thought it is surprising/strange you are just noticing this?

Changing my social circles ,,,,, am hanging out too much with the “help”( cleaning lady , barbers , chofer, doorman , waiter , trainers )….

Actually, his response degrades just about all of the middle and lower middle class people. Says a lot of Mr. Rey. His asking for a "house"
in another of his (deleted ) posts defines who he hangs with no matter what he says here.
