Love the isolation but am not interested in anything so extravagant. I have learned that the more house I have, the more problems that present themselves.
Never a good idea to own the most expensive house in the neighborhood. Being that's in Pedro Brand, I bet it has at least two full time security guards. No thanks.

That has been on the market since 2015 if I'm not mistaken. And not worth 2.9m.

I concur with Lindsay you can only sleep in one room at a time that would be an awfully lonely house unless I invited everybody from the camado

When that first went on the market, there wasn't anything else even close to it.

Now 10+ years later, at least it has neighbors within a woman screaming distance:

I agree with RDKnight. A nice little one room cabin with a nice view is more than sufficient.

I have a Twitter friend who just built one. 40K all in for property and materials. (Built it himself.)

Gorgeous interior:

Jamao al Norte
Someone is doing a mountain development in Jamao. They will be container homes. I guess in Jarabacoa (did I spell that right?) there are several. They can adapt them to be the style and size you want. Will be
Interesting to see if there are any takers, and even more interesting to see if anyone can assemble them. The developers say they build them with their own trained personnel.

As with anything in this country, I will wait and see.

I built an office with a 40' container once. It was an absolute oven without the A/C.
I'm guessing theirs would be fully insulated and ventilated to get rid of the heat.

The well known motto: "if you build, they will come"

it works, actually.

That's a really nice property. Spectacular views. It would probably cost double or triple that just about anywhere in the US.

No telling.
Containers in this humidity? I'd rather sleep outside.
