Dominican authorities handed over on Monday the alleged leader of one of the most dangerous gangs in Haiti, Faro Markenson, known as "Commander Tirad", at the border crossing between Juana Méndez and Dajabón. Minutes after being received by the Haitian police, an angry crowd lynched him and burned his body.
Markenson, who is accused of being the leader of a group dedicated to murder in Haiti, was captured in Santiago by members of the General Directorate of Migration and the J2. He was subsequently taken under escort to the border crossing in Dajabón, where he was handed over to the Haitian authorities, represented by a commissioner of the Haitian National Police.
However, just a few minutes after the handover, an angry mob in the town of Juana Méndez intercepted the officers guarding him. In an act of self-imposed justice, they beat him to death and proceeded to set his body on fire in front of numerous witnesses.
The incident has sparked alarm and debate about tensions at the border, as well as the ability of Haitian authorities to ensure due process and security in high-profile cases like this one.

Captured in Santiago. Not so tuff without his guns.

They 'lynched him' but then "beat him to death".
I think either the report is totally fake or the reporter doesn't know what lynching actually is

Beautiful, all those Gang leaders, responsible for countless slaughter on innocents and assessinations all around, should be hadled this way.
They torture the public for years to run their darn drug/gang businesses, that here is exactly what they deserve, to eb taken by the people they tortured for so long.
The DR Government has to take in all of those guys hiding like cowards in DR, so they Haitian People can do Justice as earned.

Begs the question , how many more gang leaders and members are at the border waiting to cross or already in the DR?

one more thing... The Relatives of the next guy that get deported and lynched can sue the DR for Millions and they will win. Believe me that there are plenty of liberal a-hole Lawyers and Organizations that will represent them. This is basic international Law. This Guy lynched so short time after his deportation was actually the worst thing that could happen to the entire DR and the abinader administration.

Sued for what? The guy was turned over to the Haitian police. They are the ones who either couldn't/didn't want to fight their compatriots over a sack of trash.
