That was funny, but aimed primarily to keep the dimwits from driving off the road, I would venture a guess.What's funny is them placing concrete road barricades in front of the landslide. That won't even slow it down but it will make it much harder for the excavator to clean the mud with concrete barricades buried under tons of mud.
This is just a saturated hillside that couldn't take anymore - like a quiet husband listening to incessant nagging from his wife and he finally had enough and just let go.
But, and this is a big butt, this was an area of hillside NOT cleared and left in its natural state that still slid into the main highway.
We had a lot of rain. Agreed it looks like a lot more slippin and slindin to come at that spot. Now back to beach erosion and cruisers.
