Not in most farmacias anyway. It's a controlled drug. There probably are some places that sell them"under the counter".

No chance of this happening. Even with a Dr. prescription you have to go to a special place to get it filled. Normal Pharmacys do not even have it..............

Au contraire, mon freré. I know of one here on the north coast. They definitely are rare. You're right -normal farmacias are not approved to sell it - even with a prescription. Also, not all doctors are approved to write the special prescriptions.

Absolutely. Except for major chains like CarolX that are approved to sell it with a special prescription only, it will be a very rare farmacia where you will be able to buy it without a prescription.

I am not at all involved in this sort of thing, but I do know that there is some “doctor” on the North Coast who can provide prescriptions for a price. He has an agreement with a pharmacy.

I know of this man from friends. I do not know his name. But you know anything is possible here if you know the right person. Because I am not involved in this kind of thing I am not able to give more information.

Tramadol is pretty tame, nowhere even close to oxy, dilaudid etc.
Tramadol is a synthetic derivative of codeine which is just about the weakest opioid you can get. Dentists have given many people codeine pills after root canals and extractions.

If taking it for pain, I would rather take 2 Advil's over tramadol. I had the worst side effects from taking it.

There are different kinds of pain - nerve pain, muscle pain, joint pain. Which med works best depends on what you have and the severity of the pain.

Tramadol is VERY tame. They keep offering it to me for my chronic pain and I keep declining, because it's a bitch to get it filled and it's basically like M & M's.
