No. That was a poisoning incident that occurred in December 2023. The incident we’re talking about now occurred a few weeks ago. Both were at resorts in Punta Cana. The latest one involves a husband,wife, and child. Only the husband contracted food poisoning. Resort officials told them resort medical staff were on their way several times. They never arrived. Finally an ambulance took him to a hospital where he was diagnosed and treated for food poisoning. To add insult to injury after he returned from the hospital, the resort offered them a few more amenities if they were willing to sign an NDA. When they returned to Canada, the resort owners, Marriott, sent them a letter touting the corporate line that they made every effort to help them which isn’t true.
