I am traveling to the dominican rebuplic on the first of augusto. I'll be there until around the 7th. I will be traveling alone and I don't have any help as of yet. My trip is for meeting the fabulous and exotic women that the DR has to offer. I am about to purchase my tickets in a few days and I believe that I have settled on Santo Domingo as my destination. The main reason is because it seems that the flights there are cheaper. I think I'm gonna go with a package via cheap carribean.com and stay at the hasa something ( an all inclusive).

I've been reviewing the websites for over a year and I have selected several women that I hope to meet, and depending on how well it goes I migt not make it through the entire list. My number uno choice lives in San Juan De La Muguana ( she wanted me to stay in santo domingo), my 2nd choice lives in santiago, and my 3rd choice lives in Puerto Plata. I have spoken with all 3 women, using a translator (expensive) and also while trying to use an online translator.

I have several question and any additional information you can offer me will be respected and well received. I may even be able to pay for help as an option.

My questions,

1.) is Santo Domingo the best choice?

2.) is the hotel a good choice ( I plan on paying and extra $55 a day for my guests to eat and party)?

3.) I hope to bring "the one" back to the united states in t he near future what should I do knowto be prepared?

4.) I'm shelling out $400 for an electronic dictionary that speaks 14,000 phrases spanish to english and vice versa, is it worth it?

5.)the, webiste latinas in love, wants to charge me $100 per girl for an introduction and that doesn't even include the cost to get them to me, do you know of a good translator or sevice I can pay for several hours of translation?

6.) How much should it cost me to have the girl(s) picked up and brought to see me and can you recommend a service? I don't want to send the girls any money, should I ride with the driver to each city?

7.) Is the night live roughly the same in each city? (of course not! )

Santo Domingo sounds like a decent choice. At least you'll have stuff to do when not "interviewing" the girls.

Don't know what hotel you're staying at since you didn't give the full name

Hmmm...If i were you I would say this to the girls as they would then do anything for the chance to be "the one", but actually doing it, I would take my time if I were you...at least get to know her really, really well.

Personally I don't think it's worth it, as they will probably not understand you anyway. You'll find plenty of people who speak English (maybe not the girls) but I'm sure if you're outgoing enough you should be able to get your point across.

Sounds very expensive to me, if you're also being charged to get the girl's info. That money should be enough to get the girl to you and back to her hometown...IMO.

See my previous comment. The girls can take a bus (very cheap) from their towns to come and see you. If you feel generous hire a driver (pay him by the day) and have him bring the girls to you (on your turf) or you can go with him to pick up the girl. Don't send the girls any money. I don't know any drivers.

Night life is very different from city to city. i.e. San Juan is a smaller town so not much going on there. Santo Domingo is a large town with anything you may want.

Take it slow. You'll find you can meet girls anywhere in Santo Domingo without having to pay for it. Watch your wallet, don't go around looking like a potential victim, use common sense.

Only you know what you're looking for, but just a word of unsolicited advice, don't look for love in the traditional sense right off the bat. Warm up to it slowly. Things acelerate quickly in the DR so you don't have to feel pressured. Things will progress nicely on their own.

So, hopefully we've accomplished a couple things, first, getting you cooled down so you can operate, effectively and second, maybe McCain has found himself a running mate. You know what they say about politics and strange bedfellows.

Using a service probably increases the odds by ten times of meeting 'the bad ones".
If it's just for sex, then who cares, but if what the OP says is serious, about bringing one home one day, then he's looking in the wrong place.
The odds are already heavily stacked against him, for not being fluent, nor culturally acclimated.
Adding in a dating/escort/fianc? service makes it tougher than winning the lottery.

If you really want assistance then you should consider keeping your insults and what you may think are witty and cutting comments to yourself as they will only draw more negative comments and likely make others with more solid advise hesitate to give you the direction that you obviously need.

Finally, if you are sincere in trying to find a wife you have chosen the wrong path.

You need language skills, unless you are already fluent in Spanish, time and resources to spent in the DR, or wherever, to search for who you want, legitimate contacts to introduce you around and patience to wait and see how things develop.

You could possibly manage with weak language skills but that just increases the time and resources...and patience needed, and make it far less likely that you will have the correct contacts to get introduced to the right groups.

The site you are using is unlikely to connect you with who you seem to be seeking. No offense intended to the site but my understanding is that sites like it have a very low actual success rate in the area you are looking....marriage.

Then again that's just an opinion and I may be wrong. aranoid:

Second, to the OP:

1) You will need Spanish. Using translator will, by my opinion, diminish your "machismo" in the eyes of the girl. Also, you run a risk that a translator will not tell you something or translate incorrectly. Sentimental things are also quite difficult to say using translator.
Cam you imagine telling the translator: please tell this girl she is quite charming that I like how she talks. The tone of her voice is very sweet and moreover she speaks intelligently and I like how she looks at me while talking to me.... yes this is BS but imagine telling a BS like this via a translator... I mean, come on, that will be (at the very least) humiliating.

2) Dating sites - most of the girls are pros, semi-pros, looking for sugga'daddies skilled in their trade. The girls that subscribe to those sites are not looking for love in the ::kiss::kiss kind of sense. They are looking for $$Love$$ and visa. You'd be better off just acquiring "anything" on the streets of Santo Domingo than on the Internet and your chances are much higher on the street than on the Net.

3) The hotels you mention are all in Boca Chica/Juan Dolio area. While Boca Chica has some nightlife, it is mainly $$/sex nightlife. If you want decent nightlife, various options, and strolling from a place to place, you have to go to downtown Santo Domingo. The following hotels will NOT allow guests in: Melia, Intercontinental, Jaragua

4) Get the girls meet you on your own turf. You are spending $100 to get just contact info, why spend another $100 for a driver? To impress?
Don't take this wrong - on one side you complain that this or that hotel is expensive and on the other side you want to fork $$MUCH$$ for a private drive-around service. Picking up a girl in SJM or PP will take you 3 hours each way. So 6 hours of your time lost. Get the girl get down to SD and meet you there.

5) As other said... after I read your OP... I had the feeling... this guy is lost (no offense!). You are. You need to read more. Read Mars and Venus forums (here on DR1). Get some feeling on how to deal with Dominican women. With that you will have a slightly better chance to succeed. Read the forums and then come back with more questions.

Find some latino in your area, some mexican who cuts your grass and put him on the phone to translate for you. make a date for a certain day and show up. then call her from santo dominigo. She will come. have sex, get the rust off your tool and get back into action. When you are done with her, get the other one and do the same. then when your vacation is over, just get on the plane and forget about all you have done and whom you had met in DR. Life goes on. Find new girls for next vacation.
