The DR was classified level 3 not too long ago. I can't remember a time when it wasn't classified level 2. Maybe when Trujillo was in power(?).

And add to that all the new motos. They're multiplying like rabbits. There are swarms of motos in Cabarete now. Close to half the parking spaces in town are now occupied by motos.

SD is screwed. They just haven't realized it yet.

I've driven along Av. Mirador Sur several times. The park looked very nice and it seemed like a pretty expensive area. Hard to believe they would let this happen there.

Ridiculous. Compared to the DR, many US cities should have a Level 2 travel advisory.

What difference does $100 to $200 make on condos and houses that are usually $250K and up?

I don't think Canadians are destroying Cabarete and there seems to be just as many Americans coming here. Real estate is expensive in the US, also, and prices here look cheap in comparison, especially for oceanfront condos. Many countries that are popular retiree destinations are getting fed...

Without a personal reference from a good friend, I would stick with Guzman Ariza. They're the biggest and oldest law firm in the DR.

They're working on that road again just west of the entrance to Perla Marina. I guess that might be the entrance to that project by Leo(I forget his last name)? I'm hoping it might be the Cabarete Bypass, but I doubt it.

Notice the huge A/C units right in the middle of the collapse. There were also three 500 gallon tinacas close to the A/C units. That would be 4000lbs each if full. who approved that? When a floor or roof is designed, the engineer specifies a max loading per square foot.

It's possible but emails are more vulnerable to hacking than your phone. That was the agent's point anyway. Also, I receive the code on my phone as a notification so no need to hack into the phone if it's stolen to see the code.

That works for many but I had one tell me they don't send to emails because emails are no longer very secure.

I don't see any reason to use pre-alerta(?). All my shipments with BMC and Domex have always arrived promptly w/o delay or problems. The BMC agent told me to send her a copy of the invoice if the item is over $200. I guess that's what's called a pre-alerta?
