President Luis Abinader traveled to Puerto Rico to be present for the inauguration of Jenniffer Gonzalez Colon as governor of Puerto Rico for the next four years. It is a tradition for the Dominican President to attend the inaugural. President Abinader traveled with Foreign Minister Roberto Alvarez early in the morning and returned later in the day.
Abinader was the only President to attend. El Nuevo Dia reported that Albert Bryan of the US Virgin Islands attended.
