it's likely girls were eventually sent home. after a confiscation of illicitly earned money and goods, followed by a complimentary penilingus of the saviours and liberators.

With perhaps even "the johns" being arrested?

i would look for "el gringo" as a perp... and see if he is at the bars in town...
he might get free immed. as he knows all police etc...or could be gone to his other place in the cap....drinks a grande...a white one is what he gets....drinks usually with a 40 ish lady...of european flavoring...

Arbitrary Sentences

So... The seven Dominicans get 1 year of preventative custody.

Often murder suspects get 3 months only...
This is another arbitrary and capricious act for which the Dominican justice system is famous for. :tired:

I now wonder what the accused 'gringos' get... :cross-eye

This bears posting so people can see what is happening here. Critical parts highlighted:

Sixteen U.S. citizens were held for questioning in the Dominican Republic following a raid on a home that authorities allege was being used for prostitution near a resort town in the north of the country, police said Thursday.

The U.S. citizens were detailed along with seven Dominicans at the home in an upscale community in Agua Clara near the beach town of Sosua, local police said in a statement. There were 29 prostitutes found at the home, including some under 18, it said.

None of those detained in the Wednesday raid were identified and prosecutors declined to comment, saying the investigation was still underway.

Prostitution is not specifically prohibited under Dominican law but is not technically legal either. Anyone who makes money off the services or uses the service of a prostitute can face charges of sexual exploitation.

Attorney General Francisco Dominguez said in 2013 that the country would crack down on widespread sexual exploitation and warned that clients of prostitutes could be prosecuted. Since then, authorities have prosecuted a handful of cases involving people, including several foreigners, who owned nightclubs dedicated to prosecution but not anyone for merely using the services of a prostitute.

It appears that this is going to be a "landmark" case for the Attorney General. What will happen to the Johns in this situation?

I assume that they are misnaming it by saying Agua Clara. There is a new development up that road called Agua Dulce. The houses in the photo look similar...... which made my previous statement incorrect, assuming at that time that it was Casa Linda.

There apparently is a development named Agua Clara. I noticed a billboard sign a couple of days ago for it heading toward Sosua near the entrance of El Choco. I'd not heard of it before, and the images on the sign weren't impressive.

But when you Google "agua clara sosua" not much comes up - apart from recent articles about the raid.

Bottom line, was this a "bachelor party" gone bad, or an "Adult All-Inclusive" that did not pay off the right people???
