Advise for hotel in Sosua

I heard good things about Perla de Sosua, but haven't had the time to check it out. Many ex pats also have given good reviews for El Colibri, but it's not near the center.

new garden, casa valeria, rocky's, terra linda are all on the same street. i do remember that..

New Garden meets all of your requirements. (Maybe meets them too much!) (;-)

New Garden has a great included breakfast. I used to eat there from time to time although I never stayed. Then they go and change the dining room chairs to the most uncomfortable, low to the ground, awkward, poorly designed chairs I have ever had the discomfort to sit in. Used to be nice to have a few coffees and good wi fi.

Those new chairs at N G are actually very comfortable once you get used to them.. which takes all of about 5 minutes .
Absolutely no back pain as i believe it keeps you more straight and almost feels like they improve your posture ..

Awesome Breakfasts at new garden, with a whole pot of coffee .

Terra Linda is also a very nicely laid out Hotel, with a fantastic Garden Ambiance, possibly the best in town esp for being so close to the center of town, its like an Oasis back there .. not sure why no one ever uses that pool though, its super clean.
absolutely the best food ( Scotch and Sirloin) , a little pricey but really good stuff on that menu..
My opinion of them over the years has changed a lot ,not sure if the same people are running it, but whoever it is now, they got their act together .

...was reading a travel magazine last winter in usa.....they were rating hotels around the world on their sleaze factor....They rated new garden ,sosua DR, #1 the winner.... with that , I would chose new garden....Doc........
