We went to see Sting at Altos and it was indeed amazing - big tropic moon and breezes in the intimately lovely venue and well organized but I will have to admit that I did break the rules - fortunately a small point and click camera is pretty easily hid when you are a D cup wearing a good bra....

We also stayed many times for very nice concerts at the La Romana Country Club that were the closing activity for golf tournaments and at some amazing villas that were graciously made available to us for weekends when the owners weren't going - as CC said it is nice to have connections.

Btw. Frank 12 great pictures, I remember wanting to go to see Sinatra, I did go a few days latter, I used to go to the local beach Minitas I think, I agree there is nothing like it in the world.

Is it true that guards are posted at Altos de Chavon to keep the public out? I think access is now limited to residents and guests of Casa de Campo. I know that the old entrances on the highway have been removed and vehicles must now pass through the gated entrance.
