Ok. Just about the same goes on with young girls in the DR but there does not seem to be the same level of outrage. Both are illegal here but law enforcement is lax in the DR other than for drug use. If the gay men at the cafeteria fired up a joint they would be wished off to jail. It's their country and it's their priorities

I can say that has not been my experience although they may  not know I am queer.  The drug thing really is not as big of a deal here as the non drug users say.  They don’t just automatically throw you in jail and man at least 50% of the gringos I would say are smoking weed or doing coke and the amount of Doms that smoke weed is a lot!!
