I’m staying at breathless resort in Punta Cana. I’ve been here since Sunday having a blast. Last night I called the front desk for help with my hot tub.
The guy came in and got it started and left.
I got in and drank a little more and shot the **** on my phone a little.
I then went to bed about 11:30ish....
About 2 this morning that guy came BACK in my room as I was sleep alone NAKED....
He didn’t speak English so he hit a button on his phone which said “Why are you alone, you don’t want company?”
I jumped to my feet and said “One of us has to die, and I’m going home to my kids” and starting swinging....
He ran out my room and that’s when I started updating y’all.
The hotel said the police was only open 9-5 BUT also said the guy was arrested!? HOW?
Where is HE?
Why would y’all just offer me a couple bands to settle something you haven’t solved?

This story sounds like 50% alchohol and drug fueled 50% BS.

Yet you are still here, right. You are correct, the majority of the population is poorly educated and their moral compass is different that perhaps yours, however they donèt abuse alcohol any more or less(probably less) than most Europeans or North Americans. My wife and I spent the evening visiting friends of hers here in Jarabacoa. Wonderful people, full of life and graced with health, wealth, and good manners. These people were Camposinos from Manabao ( in the mountains 20 km from Jarabacoa, where they raised cows and grew coffee. Rancho Pichardo as it was know. They moved to Jarabacoa so their children could attend high school and now all the children are 40-50 years old and highly successful people, with several being professionals in the USA and one in Italy. I know numerous Dominican like this, perhaps you need to expand your social circle.
